The Specifics Please

There are a lot of assumptions about what parents are supposed to do, but no holistic guide. We know children expect the best of us, and mostly we expect the best of ourselves. But let’s pause and remind ourselves exactly WHAT we are expected to do, congratulate ourselves where we are having success and apply ourselves where needed.

I have written a number of Tweets with parenting tips that I learned from the workplace and have effectively put to use at home. A lot of it has to do with leadership and structure, things humans respond well to, not just adults or just children.
